Saubermacher opens showcase project for recycling

For the purpose of the corporate motto "for an environment worth living in", Saubermacher takes much effort to offer a nearly complete recycling chain – from logistics for trash bins, containers and trays via sorting, splitting and treatment to the subsequent processing and disposal under ecological aspects. An important milestone on this road is the construction of a high-performance sorting plant at Saubermacher’s location in Puchstraße in Graz.

The central task of the new plant is the unmixed separation of plastic waste from the "Yellow Bin" or the "Yellow Bag" – because only if they are sorted correspondingly, household packages meet the requirements for achieving optimum quality for material recycling. PET bottles as well as polyethylene or polypropylene packages are particularly easy to recycle.

Commercial waste sorting – new path into the future of waste management

In the new high-tech plant, not only packaging plastics but also unmixed commercial waste can be sorted. Commercial waste from Graz and Styria may therefore increasingly be recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.
