Day of the town Nagykanizsa

„Children for children“
This year, similar to the previous, we organized the event „Children for children“, which more than 200 children attended in order to collect litter.
In the course of the event the children cleaned mostly playgrounds.
This successful campaign – where children packed 450 kilos of litter in 13 large bin-liners on 16 locations – was also broadcast on the local television and reported in local media as well as the local newspaper.


“Day of the town”
The event “Day of the town Nagykanizsa” took place in lovely spring weather on April 29 and 30.
In the course of this event we participated in various colorful programs where the mayor and delegates as well as many families with children paid us a visit.
Our guests had the possibility to play the game Domino and fill in questionnaires. Snacks, gifts and little surprises were provided.
Children were allowed to sit in road sweepers where pictures had been taken and were sent to the little ones by mail afterwards.


“Mr. Márton Makrai’s award”
In the course of the event “Day of the town Nagykanizsa” a solemn annual general meeting was held.
The former general manager Mr. Márton Makrai received an award for his perennial commitment to environment and culture in the town of Nagykanizsa.
