Future Field Green Jobs

In order to reduce CO2 emissions, Austria also has to focus on alternative energies. This sector still holds a lot of growth potential – a good chance for the sustainable creation of jobs. Companies from outside the industry may also increasingly focus on environmental protection and thus create “green jobs” – a few are doing that already. In order to sensitise the population in respect of sustainability, the Sustainable Future Campaign organises many events right across Europe.

On 11th January 2010, an event on the subject of “Future Field Green Jobs” took place at the Vienna University of Economics and Business with the Austrian Federal Minster DI Niki Berlakovich, Councillor of Commerce Hans Roth and Univ. Prof. Dr. Sigrid Stagl, among others. Saubermacher AG has been supporting this initiative for some years already and therewith wants to sensitise young people to the importance of a sustainable economy, from the point of view of an international waste management company.
