Saubermacher wins PR-Panther Award

Saubermacher Dienstleistungs AG received the Styrian PR-Panther Award 2009 for its “Saubermacher Climate Protection Charter”. This year, for the second time, the PR-Panther Award ceremony took place at the Audimax of FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences.

For Saubermacher CEO Hans Roth, the six guidelines of the charter are “a small, modest contribution to climate protection, which, however, has to start right at the bottom already”. The internationally operating waste disposal company wants to increasingly invest into new technologies and methods in order to reduce emissions. Besides that, efficiency is to be increased in order to preserve resources. In the areas of transport, heating and power supply, energy is to be saved; additionally, at Saubermacher, they want to raise the climate protection awareness of the employees by means of projects and competitions.
